Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January-October 2019

Foreign trade turnover[1] in January – October this year according to exports at current prices amounted to PLN 845.4 bn, while imports amounted to PLN 840.8 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 4.6 bn, while in the same period last year amounted to minus PLN 13.8 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2018, exports increased by 6.7%, and imports by 4.3%.

Exports expressed in USD amounted to 220.9 bn USD while imports amounted to USD 219.8 bn (a decrease in exports of 0.8% and in imports of 3.0%). The positive balance reached the level of USD 1.1 bn, while in the same period last year amounted to minus USD 3.9 bn.

Exports expressed in EUR amounted to 196.6 bn while imports amounted to EUR 195.5 bn          (an increase in exports of 5.3% and in imports of 3.0%). The positive balance reached the EUR 1.1 bn and minus EUR 3.3 bn in the same period in 2018.
