Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January-December 2023
A A AForeign trade turnover[1] in January - December 2023 (based on temporary data[2]) in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 604.1 bn, while in imports - PLN 1 555.4 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 48.6 bn, while in the same period of 2022 year was negative and amounted to PLN 93.2 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports decreased by 0.9%, and imports by 9.1%.
Exports expressed in USD amounted to 379.7 bn, while imports amounted to USD 368.3 bn (an increase in exports of 3.8% and decrease in imports of 4.8%). The positive balance reached the level of USD 11.4 bn, while in the same period of 2022 year was negative and amounted to USD 21.2 bn.
Exports expressed in EUR amounted to 351.0 bn, while imports amounted to EUR 340.5 bn (an increase in exports of 1.4% and decrease in imports of 7.0%). The positive balance reached EUR 10.6 bn, compared to a negative balance of EUR 20.0 bn in the same period of 2022.
