In the first half of the year 2017, exports at current prices amounted to PLN 426 333.5 mln, while imports amounted to PLN 422 117.7 mln. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 4 215.8 mln, while in the previous year PLN 12 831,6 mln. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2016, exports increased by 7.3% and imports by 9.8%.

Exports expressed in USD amounted to 106 313.9 mln while imports amounted to USD 105 300.3 mln (an increase in exports of 4.3% and in imports of 6.8%). The positive balance reached the level of USD 1 013.6 mln (against USD 3 304.8 mln in 2016).
Exports expressed in EUR amounted to 99 133.3 mln while imports amounted to EUR 98 161.0 mln (an increase in exports of 8.4% and in imports of 10.9%). The positive balance reached the level of EUR 972.3 mln compared to EUR 2 951.6 mln in the same period in 2016.
