Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January-September 2024

Foreign trade turnover[1] in January - September 2024 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 122.7 bn, while in imports - PLN 1 109.7 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 13.0 bn, while in the same period of 2023 year amounted to PLN 39.6 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports decreased by 7.7%, and imports by 5.7%.

Exports expressed in USD amounted to 282.3 bn, while imports amounted to USD 279.0 bn (a decrease in exports of 1.8% and an increase in imports of 0.3%). The positive balance reached the level of USD 3.3 bn, while in the same period of 2023 amounted to USD 9.3 bn.

Exports expressed in EUR amounted to 260.1 bn, while imports amounted to EUR 257.1 bn (a decrease in exports of 1.8% and an increase in imports of 0.3%). The positive balance reached EUR 3.0 bn, compared to the positive balance of EUR 8.6 bn in the same period of 2023.
