Foreign trade turnover in January - June 2023 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 821.4 bn, while in imports - PLN 790.6 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 30.8 bn, while in the same period of 2022 year was negative and amounted to PLN 42.4 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports increased by 6.1%, while imports decreased by 3.2%. 

Exports expressed in USD amounted to 190.3 bn, while imports amounted to USD 183.1 bn (an increase in exports of 2.4% and decrease in imports of 6.6%). The positive balance reached the level of USD 7.2 bn, while in the same period of 2022 year was negative and amounted to USD 10.3 bn.

Exports expressed in EUR amounted to 176.4 bn, while imports amounted to EUR 169.8 bn (an increase in exports of 4.9% and decrease in imports of 4.3%). The positive balance reached EUR 6.6 bn, compared to a negative balance of EUR 9.3 bn in the same period of 2022.
