In 2016 (according to preliminary data), exports at current prices amounted to PLN 798199.1 mln, while imports amounted to PLN 777539.2 mln. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 20659.9 mln, while in 2015 PLN 9862.5 mln. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2015, exports increased by 6.3% and imports by 4.9%.

Exports expressed in USD amounted to 203725.2 mln while imports amounted to USD 198421.2 mln (an increase in exports of 1.7% and in imports of 0.4%). The positive balance reached the level of USD 5304.0 mln (against USD 2660.7 mln in 2015).
Exports expressed in EUR amounted to 183633.9 mln while imports amounted to EUR 178873.9 mln (an increase in exports of 2.3% and in imports of 0.9%). The positive balance reached the level of EUR 4760.0 mln compared to EUR 2345.3 mln in the same period in 2015.
