Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January-July 2020

Foreign trade turnover[1] in the January – July this year according to exports at current prices amounted to PLN 568.8 bn, while imports amounted to PLN 543.6 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 25.2 bn, while in the same period of 2019 year amounted to PLN 0.7 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2019,  both exports and imports decreased by 3.9% and 8.1% respectively.

Exports expressed in USD amounted to 142.8 bn USD while imports amounted to USD 136.6 bn (a decrease in exports of 8.4% and in imports of 12.3%). The positive balance reached the level of USD 6.2 bn, while in the same period 2019 year amounted to USD 0.2 bn.

Exports expressed in EUR amounted to 129.6 bn while imports amounted to EUR 124.0 bn (an decrease in exports of 6.0% and in imports of 10.0%). The positive balance reached the EUR 5.6 bn and minus EUR 0.2 bn in the same period of 2019.
