Foreign trade turnover¹ in January - June 2024 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 752.0 bn, while in imports - PLN 732.0 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 20.0 bn, while in the same period of 2023 year amounted to PLN 31.7 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports decreased by 10.2%, and imports by 9.1%.

Exports expressed in USD amounted to 188.4 bn, while imports amounted to USD 183.4 bn (a decrease in exports of 2.9% and in imports of 1.7%). The positive balance reached the level of USD 5.0 bn, while in the same period of 2023 amounted to USD 7.4 bn.

Exports expressed in EUR amounted to 173.9 bn, while imports amounted to EUR 169.3 bn (a decrease in exports of 3.3% and in imports of 2.1%). The positive balance reached EUR 4.6 bn, compared to the positive balance of EUR 6.8 bn in the same period of 2023.
