According to preliminary data, in the period of January-June 2014, 66327 dwellings were completed, i.e. by 2.4% less than in the corresponding period of 2013 (in which an increase by 0.2% was recorded) and by 2.2% less than in 2012 respectively.
In the period of six months of 2014, the number of dwellings for which building permits have been granted amounted to 76480, i.e. by 12.8% more than in the corresponding period of 2013 (in which a drop by 22.9% was recorded). The number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased to 72253, i.e. by 22.5% against a drop by 26.9% the year before.
