In January of 2016 there were less dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project and the number of dwellings in which construction has begun also decreased. According to preliminary data, in January of 2016, 11543 dwellings were completed, i.e. by 1.7% less than in January of 2015 in which a decrease by 6.1% was noted in comparison to January of 2014. In January of 2016, the number of dwellings for which building permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project amounted to 10204, i.e. by 3.6% less than in January of 2015 (in which an increase by 21.0% was recorded the year before). The number of dwellings in which construction has begun also decreased to 7229, i.e. by 0.1% (against an increase by 11.8% the year before).
