Price indices of sold production of industry and construction and assembly production in August 2015

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in August 2015 were of 0.7% lower than in the previous month. The drop of prices was recorded in mining and quarrying of 1.7%, of which in mining of metal ores (of 6.9%), but the growth was recorded in mining of coal and lignite (by 1.6%). The drop of prices was also recorded in manufacturing of 0.7%, of which the biggest in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (of 9.4%). The prices were also lower in manufacture of chemicals and chemical products (of 0.6%), of computer, electronic and optical products, of wearing apparel (of 0.5% each), of basic metals (of 0.4%), of metal products, of textiles (of 0.3% each), of electrical equipment, of other non-metallic mineral products (of 0.2% each). The prices in manufacture of machinery and equipment reached the level similar to the one recorded in the previous month. The growth of prices was recorded among other things in manufacture of beverages, of other transport equipment (by 0.1% each), of furniture, of printing and reproduction of recorded media (by 0.2% each), of products of wood, cork, straw and wicker, of pharmaceutical products (by 0.3% each), of food products, of rubber and plastic products, of paper and paper products (by 0.4% each), of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers (by 0.6%) as well as of leather and related products (by 0.7%). The drop of prices was also recorded in section electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply of 0.3%. The prices in section water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities reached the level similar to the one recorded in July 2015.
