Price indices of sold production of industry and construction and assembly production in September 2018

According to preliminary data in September  2018 the prices of sold production of industry were higher by 2.9% in comparison to September 2017. The prices increase was also recorded in construction and assembly production – by 3.3%. In the period January-September 2018 the prices of sold production of industry  were higher by 1.9% in comparison to the corresponding period 2017 (when the growth was recorded – by 3.3%) and  the prices of construction and assembly production increased by 2.4% (the growth in  the previous year – by 0.4%).

According to preliminary data in September  2018, the prices of sold production of industry were higher by 0.4% in comparison to the previous month. The prices in section manufacturing increased also by 0.4%. The biggest  growth of prices was recorded in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products (by 2.0%). The prices  also increased, among others in manufacturing of  leather and related products (by 1.4%), of chemicals and chemical products (by 0.7%), of pharmaceutical products, of metal products (by 0.5% each), of  paper and paper products, of other non-metallic mineral products ( by 0.4% each), of food products, of rubber and plastic products, of electrical equipment, of motor vehicles, trailers and semitrailers ( by 0.3% each),  of basic metals, of computer, electronic and optical products (by 0.2% each). The prices in manufacture of other transport equipment remained unchanged to the ones  recorded in August 2018. The drop of prices was  recorded among other things in printing and reproduction of recorded media, manufacture of machinery and equipment n.e.c (by 0.1% each), of products of wood, cork, straw, of furniture (by 0.2% each), of textiles (by 0.3%), of  wearing apparel ( by 0.4%), of beverages (by 0.5%), of tobacco products (by 0.6%).  The prices in section electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply increased by 0.2% and in section water supply, sewerage, waste management and remediation activities by 0.1%.  The drop of prices was recorded in  section  mining and quarrying by 0.2%.
