Price indices of sold production of industry in January 2020

According to preliminary data in January 2020 the prices of sold production of industry  were higher in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year  by 0.8% and in comparison with December 2019 by 0.1%.


According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in January 2020 were higher by 0.1% in comparison with the previous month. The most increase of prices was in section electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply by 1.1%. Prices in sections water supply; sewerage, waste management and remediation activities as well as in mining and quarrying were also increased by 0.3% each with their  growth in division of mining of coal and lignite by 1.4% and the drop of prices in mining of metal ores by 1.2%.The prices in manufacturing  remained on average at a level similar to the one recorded a month ago. The prices increased ,among others, in manufacture of: pharmaceutical products (by 1.3%), of food products, of basic metals (by 0.6% each), of printing and reproduction  of recorded media (by 0.5%), of leather and related products (by 0.3%), of textiles, of  products of wood, cork, straw  and wicker (by 0.2% each), of other transport equipment (by 0.1%). The prices in manufacture of rubber and plastic products as well as in manufacture of electrical equipment remained unchanged. The prices decreased ,among other things, in manufacture: of other non-metallic mineral products, of metal products (by 0.1% each), of paper and paper products, of motor vehicles, trailers and semi-trailers, of furniture (by 0.2% each), of tobacco products, of machinery and equipment (by 0.3% each), of beverages, of wearing apparel (by 0.4% each), of chemicals and chemical products, of computer, electronic and optical products (by 0.6% each), of coke and refined petroleum products (by 1.0%).
