How will electricity prices for households be included in the Consumer Price Index from January 2023? Due to the entry into force of the act on special solutions for the protection of electricity consumers in 2023 and the implementation of the measures under the so-called Solidarity Shield, from 1 January 2023, energy prices will be frozen at the 2022 level for households whose electricity consumption does not exceed the assumed limits or if the household is entitled to use the increased limits.

Information on the inclusion in the survey of changes in prices of consumer goods and services of amendments to legal regulations concerning the electricity market and other regulations concerning prices of selected items

In order to reflect current legal regulations related to price formation in the measurement of consumer prices, Statistics Poland on the ongoing basis regularly includes in the index of consumer price change data for selected groups of goods and services concerned by these regulations.

The Geostatistics Portal won 1st place in the digital products category at the International Cartographic Conference in Cape Town

The number of population decreased by 0.9% compared to the results of the Census 2011. There were 15.2 million dwellings in Poland. The number of dwellings increased by 12.6% compared to the Census 2011.
