In 2024, 8.3 million people were employed in the field of culture, including 7.9 million people in EU countries. Cultural employees in the EU were distinguished by a high level of education (62.3% with tertiary education), high share of self-employment (31.7%) and a lower share of working full-time (75.5%) and having a permanent job (81.9%) compared to the total employment.

In July and August 2025, 2.1 million tourists were accommodated in tourist accommodation establishments located in coastal areas, and 9.0 million overnight stays were provided for them. Compared to the same period last year, the number of tourists was higher by 6.0%, and number of overnight stays by 3.3%.

According to preliminary data, in August 2025 services production was higher by 6.3% than a year before (at that time, it was recorded an increase of 3.5%), and in relation to July 2025 decreased by 3.8%.

Consumer prices in October 2025 increased by 2.8% compared with the corresponding month of the previous year (with an increase of prices of services by 5.6% and goods by 1.7%). As related to the previous month consumer prices increased by 0.1% (with an increase of prices of goods by 0.3% and a decrease of prices of services by 0.2%).

Foreign trade turnover in January–September 2025 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 143.0 bn, while in imports - PLN 1 162.6 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 19.6 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports increased by 0.8%, and imports by 3.4%.

According to the flash estimate, gross domestic product (GDP) in volume terms seasonally unadjusted was higher by 3.7% in the 3rd quarter of 2025 year-to-year against 2.8% increase in the corresponding period of 2024.
