Compared to the previous month, in June 2026, general business climate indicators for most of presented types of activity point at stabilisation or deterioration of the economy. The most significant decline is noted in financial and insurance activities section, while the biggest improvement is observed in accommodation and food service activities section.

In May 2026, sold production of industry was by 4.1% higher than in May 2025 (when a similar increase of 4.0% was recorded), whereas in comparison with April 2026, it decreased by 0.8%. In the period January-May of 2026, sold production of industry was by 3.1% higher than in the corresponding period of 2025 (which saw an increase by 1.6%).

According to preliminary data, the average paid employment in the national economy in 2025 was 11 040.9 thousand full-time equivalents and remained at a similar level compared with the previous year.

In June 2026, consumer sentiment moods improved, both regarding the current and future situation (compared to the previous month). The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was minus 9.9 which was by 1.4 lower in relation to last month.

Harmonized Indices of Consumer Prices (HICP) are computed according to uniform methodology of European Union by member states.

Poland's energy efficiency increased by 0.7% in 2024 compared to 2023

As of 31 December 2025, 1,322.8 thousand students were enrolled in higher education institutions in Poland, 42.7 thousand more than in the previous year. 306.6 thousand graduates received diplomas in the 2024/25 academic year, 14.6 thousand more than in 2023/24.

According to preliminary data, in March 2026 services production was higher by 11.0% than a year before (at that time, it was recorded an increase of 3.2%), and in relation to February 2026 increased by 10.7%.

On the last day of December 2025, 1 497.7 thousand persons in Poland were performing work only under contracts of mandate and related contracts, i.e. 4.8% more than on 31 December 2024. Compared with 30 September 2025, their number decreased by 0.3%.

Consumer prices in May 2026 increased by 3.1% compared with the corresponding month of the previous year (with an increase of prices of ser-vices by 5.7% and goods by 2.1%). As related to the previous month consumer prices decreased by 0.3% (of which goods by 0.4% and services by 0.2%).
