In March, both seasonally and non-seasonally adjusted general business climate indicators for most of presented kinds of activities point at improvement or stabilization of the economy. Compared to the previous month, the most significant improvement of business tendency was noted in accommodation and food service activities section, construction as well as manufacturing.

According to preliminary data, in February 2025 the prices of construction and assembly production were higher by 3.6% in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year, and compared to January 2025 they increased by 0.2%.

In February 2025, sold production of industry was by 2.0% lower than in February 2024 (when an increase was recorded by 3.3%), whereas in comparison with January 2025, it decreased by 0.4%.

According to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in February 2025 remained at the level of previous year (in February 2024 a decrease of 4.8%) and by 7.5% higher compared to January 2025.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in February 2025 decreased both compared to January 2025 - by 0.2%, and February 2024 - by 1.3%.

In the period January–February 2025, there were less by 2.1% dwellings completed than in the corresponding period of the previous year.

In February 2025, the average paid employment in the enterprise sector was 6 451.5 thousand full-time equivalent employees, 0.9% lower than a year earlier.

In March 2025, there was a deterioration in the current consumer moods with a simultaneous improvement in future consumer moods compared to the previous month. The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was -15.2 which was by 0.4 p.p. lower in relation to last month.
