According to preliminary data, in January 2026 consumer prices increased by 2.2% compared with the corresponding month of the previous year. As related to the previous month consumer prices increased by 0.6%.

According to the flash estimate, gross domestic product (GDP) in volume terms seasonally unadjusted was higher by 4.0% in the 4th quarter of 2025 year-to-year (against 3.5% increase in the corresponding period of 2024).

In the fourth quarter of 2025, there were 83 673 registrations of enterprises recorded i.e. 2,0% registrations more than in the corresponding period of previous year and 102 enterprises declared bankruptcy i.e. 7 bankruptcies more than in the fourth quarter of 2024.

On the last day of August 2025, there were 1 103.1 thousand foreigners performing work in Poland, i.e. 5.6% more than in August 2024. Compared with the previous month, their number decreased by 0.3%.
