In March 2026, general business climate indicators for most of presented types of activity point at deterioration or stabilisation of the economy. The most significant decline is noted in accommodation and food service activities section. A slight improvement is ob-served in construction, financial and insurance activities section as well as in wholesale trade.

According to preliminary data, in March 2026 the prices of construction and assembly production increased both compared to March 2025 (by 4.7%), as well as to February 2026 (by 1.2%).

In March 2026, sold production of industry was by 9.4% higher than in March 2025 (when an increase was recorded by 2.4%), whereas in comparison with February 2026, it increased by 17.2%. In the period January-March of 2026, sold production of industry was by 2.9% higher than in the corresponding period of 2025 (which saw an increase by 0.8%).

According to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out domestically was in March 2026 higher by 0.4% an annual. Compared to February 2026 an increse was noted by 37.0%.

In Quarter 4 2025, the labour cost index rose by 5.0% compared with Quarter 1 of the same year, and increased by 2.8% and 1.7% compared with Quarter 2 and Quarter 3 2025, respectively.

In March 2026, the average paid employment in the enterprise sector was 0.1% lower than in February of this year and 0.9% lower than a year earlier.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in March 2026 decreased compared to March 2025 – by 0.8%, but increased compared to February 2026 — by 1.0%.

In the period January–March 2026, 1.4% less dwellings were completed compared to the same period last year. The number of dwellings in which construction began also decreased (by 11.4%), whereas the number of dwellings for which permits were granted or which have been registered with a construction project increased by 7.4%.

In Quarter 1 2025, the number of employment relationships established was 10.8 thousand lower than the number of employment relationships terminated.

In 2025, 994 museums were operating, visited by 46.2 million people. Museums presented 3.0 thousand permanent exhibitions and organised 4.6 thousand temporary exhibitions in Poland.
