In December 2025 retail sales at constant prices were by 5.3% higher than the year before (against an increase of 1.9 in December 2024). Compared with November 2025, there was an increase by 12.5% in retail sales.

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products decreased in December 2025 both in comparison with the previous month (by 5.5%) and compared to the corresponding period of 2024 (by 10.9%).

In December 2025, sold production of industry was by 7.3% higher than in December 2024 (when an increase was recorded by 0.2%), whereas in comparison with November 2025, it slightly decreased by 0.1%. In the period January-December of 2025, sold production of industry was by 3.0% higher than in the corresponding period of 2024 (which saw an increase by 0.3%).

In January 2026, as in the same month of previous years, general business climate indica-tors for the most presented types of activity point at improvement of the economy.

In January 2026, consumer sentiment moods improved, both regarding the current and future situation (compared to the previous month). The current consumer confidence in-dicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was minus 9.6 which was by 0.3 p.p. higher in relation to last month.
