In February 2025, there was improvement in the current consumer moods with a simultaneous deterioration in future consumer moods compared to the previous month.

According to preliminary data, in January 2025 consumer prices increased by 5,3% compared with the corresponding month of the previous year. As related to the previous month consumer prices increased by 1,0%.

Foreign trade turnover in January - December 2024 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 512.2 bn, while in imports - PLN 1 509.2 bn.

According to the flash estimate, gross domestic product (GDP) in volume terms seasonally unadjusted was higher by 3.2% in the 4th quarter of 2024 year-to-year against 1.0% increase in the corresponding period of 2023.

In the fourth quarter of 2024, there were 82 029 registrations of enterprises recorded i.e. 7.3% less than in the corresponding period of previous year and 95 enterprises declared bankruptcy i.e. 3.0% less than in the fourth quarter of 2023.
