At the end of 2024, 2 094 enterprises in Poland (an increase by 5.9% as compared to 2023) declared involvement in foreign entities. Majority of foreign entities were located in Germany, Czechia, The United States and Ukraine.

In 2025, 2.0% of people living in Poland declared that they were unable to meet at least 7 out of 13 material and social needs due to financial reasons. This percentage decreased slightly compared to the previous year (2.3% in 2024).

In 2024, there were 143.7 thousand enterprises classified as cultural and creative industries. The number of employed persons amounted to 281.0 thousand (an increase by 18.7%), and the average paid employment amounted to 96.5 thousand full-time jobs (an increase by 4.3%). The average gross monthly wages and salaries amounted to PLN 9,193. Increase of both number of persons employed and average paid employment was recorded only for micro-companies.

On the last day of October 2025, the population of employed persons in the national economy was 15 121.5 thousand, i.e. 0.2% fewer than in October 2024. Compared with the previous month, their number was at a similar level.

In the 4th quarter of 2025, there was an increase in the border traffic of foreigners by 1.7% and of Poles by 2.5%, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The values of goods and services purchased by foreigners in Poland and goods and services purchased by Poles abroad during this period were higher than in the 4th quarter of 2024 by 9.5% and 9.7% respectively.

In 2025 emergency rescue teams provided health care benefits in the occurrence place to 3.3 million of persons. In hospital emergency wards or admission rooms 6.6 million patients received health care benefits (increase by 2.9%). 4.9 million were discharged home and 1.7 million received inpatient treatment.

In 2025 the net financial result of the banking sector amounted to PLN 48.7 bn, in comparison with PLN 40.1 bn in 2024. The total bank balance sheets increased by 9.6% y/y and amounted to PLN 3,633.6 bn. The value of loans for the non-financial sector increased by 6.1% y/y to PLN 1,266.6 bn and the value of deposits of this sector increased by 8.3% y/y to PLN 2,103.5 bn.
