Procurement prices of basic agricultural products decreased in October 2025 in comparison with the previous month (by 1.6%), while compared to the corresponding period of the last year, they increased (by 6.4%).

Satellite health account in 2021

The value added gross generated by health care providers in 2021 amounted to PLN 140 billion, which was PLN 34 billion (i.e. 32.2%) higher than in 2020. Two groups of providers dominated most of the transactions within satellite health account: hospitals (HP.1) and providers of ambulatory health care (HP.3).

Social integration centres, social integration clubs, vocational activity establishments, occupational therapy workshops in 2024

In 2024, 1240 social and professional reintegration units: social integration centres (CIS), social integration clubs (KIS), vocational activity establishments (ZAZ), occupational therapy workshops (WTZ) were active, i.e. 6 less than in 2023. Compared to 2015, the number of these units increased by 51.

Fourth newsletter concerning Pan-African Statistics Programme II (PAS II)

ECOBUSAF and SOCSTAF are two components of the Pan-African Statistics Programme II (PAS II) funded by the EU. International consortia are formed by European statistical offices (France, Denmark, Spain, Finland, Norway and Poland). These components aim at supporting African integration through the reinforcement of national, regional and continental statistical systems. SOCSTAF concerns the development of social statistics in the national statistical offices of the African Union countries, and ECOBUSAF focuses on economic statistics. This is the fourth and last issue of a newsletter highlighting the major events organised as part of the ECOBUSAF and SOCSTAF projects.

Financial instruments of non-financial companies in 2024

2,544 entities participated in the study. Financial instruments in assets were reported by 2,498 enterprises for a total amount of PLN 888.2 billion. Financial instruments in liabilities were shown by 2,463 enterprises for a total amount of PLN 945.9 billion. Derivatives in assets and in liabilities were reported by 502 and 300 entities respectively, and the value of these instruments amounted to PLN 17.1 billion and PLN 11.3 billion.

Financial results of investment funds in the first half of 2025

The value of assets held by investment funds at the end of June 2025 amounted to PLN 441.8 billion (PLN 406.4 billion at the end of June of the previous year). Investment funds achieved a result on operations in the amount of PLN 25.3 billion (compared to PLN 16.3 billion year earlier).
