In 2024, there were 2 367.6 thousand enterprises operating in Poland with up to 9 persons employed (microenterprises). Their number increased by 66.3 thousand units, i.e., 2.9%, compared to the previous year.

In all major occupational groups, the average monthly wage and salary for October 2024 increased compared with October 2022. The smallest increase was recorded in the occupational group of Managers – 21.0%, and the largest in the occupational group of Elementary occupations – 33.4%.

Foreign trade turnover in January–August 2025 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1001.6 bn, while in imports - PLN 1023.1 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 21.4 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports decreased by 0.3%, and imports increased by 2.7%.

As of 31 December 2024 in Poland, there were 3.9 million persons who held a valid certificate of disability or a level of disability issued by the medical examination committee or an equivalent. Such persons accounted for 10.5% off total population.

As at the end of September 2025 the REGON register included 5 411.7 thous. of national economy entities. In September this year, the number of entities registered, as well as deregistered, was higher than the month before.

On the last day of April 2025, there were 1 077.3 thousand foreigners performing work in Poland, i.e. 5.5% more than in April 2024. Compared with the previous month, their number increased by 1.0%.

According to the revised estimate, gross domestic product (GDP) in 2024 increased by 3.0% in comparison to 2023. The result has changed compared to previously published on 17th April 2025 by 0.1 percentage points.

In the 1st half of 2025, in Poland, 18.9 million tourists were accommodated in tourist accommodation establishments and 44.9 million overnight stays were provided for them. Compared to the same period of 2024, this was an increase of 11.6% and 8.5% respectively. Compared to the 1st half of 2024 the occupancy rate decreased from 37.0% to 36.9%.
