In June 2024, the median monthly gross wage and salary in the national economy in Poland was 19.2% lower than the average monthly gross wage and salary.

In the third quarter of 2024, the producer prices for business services increased compared to the previous quarter by 0.7%. Compared to the third quarter of 2023 they increased by 4.6%.

According to the methodology of the European Forest Accounts (EFA), the value of gross output of the forestry and logging division in Poland in 2022 amounted to PLN 36.6 billion, which was an increase in comparison with the previous year by 41.6% (in current prices). The high increase in the value of gross output, like in the value of forest land and in the value of forest stands, was mainly due to the rise in timber prices.

The study presents the results of research that covered vehicles with a maximum permissible laden weight (MPLW) of up to 3.5 tonnes (excluding special purpose vehicles). The main objective of the study was to test the methodology developed by Eurostat and the working group on light utility vehicles by implementing a pilot data collection, as well as to assess the feasibility of collecting the required information regarding the usage of these vehicles, including measuring the scale of transport and travel distances in the light utility vehicle (LUV) segment.
