In the second quarter of 2026, the producer prices for business services increased compared to the previous quarter by 0.8% and compared to the second quarter of 2025 - by 3.0%.

In March 2026, the median monthly gross wage and salary decreased by 2.1% in nominal terms compared with February 2026, whilst it increased by 7.6% compared with March 2025. During the same period, the average monthly gross wage and salary decreased by 2.7% in nominal terms compared with February 2026, whilst it increased by 6.6% compared with March 2025.

Intermodal transport allows to create modern transport chains that combine two or more modes of transport into single system. It relies on a network of nodes that connect the different modes of transport involved in the transport of goods without changing the loading unit. The greater the number of nodes including land and maritime terminals, the easier it is to access the transport network.

In 2025 domestic deliveries of meat (including pork, beef, veal and poultry) amounted to 5061 thousand tonnes and were higher by 9.7% compared with the previous year. The deliveries of raw meat from animals for slaughter increased by 10.3%, as well as deliveries of poultry meat by 8.9%.

Consumer prices according to the flash estimate in Augus 2026 increased by 3.4% (price index 103.4) compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, and as related to the previous month increased by 0.4% (price index 100.4).

The amount of outlays on fixed assets for environmental protection in 2025 amounted to approx. PLN 18.1 billion (compared to PLN 15.1 billion in 2024), and outlays on fixed assets for water management reached the level of approx. PLN 4.8 billion (PLN 3.6 billion in 2024). In 2025, outlays on environmental protection and water management accounted for 0.46% and 0.12% of GDP, respectively (0.42% and 0.10% in 2024, respectively).

Seasonally unadjusted gross domestic product (GDP) in the 2nd quarter of 2026 was 3.9% higher year-on-year, compared with an increase of 3.3% in the corresponding quarter of 2025 (at constant average prices of the previous year).
