Harmonized Indices of Consumer Prices (HICP) are computed according to uniform methodology of European Union by member states.

According to preliminary data, in February 2026 services production was higher by 7.0% than a year before (at that time, it was recorded an increase of 3.0%), and in relation to January 2026 increased by 4.5%.

In 2025, 51.8% of government administration employees (2.6 pp. more than in previous year) and 23.4% of self-government administration employees (0.4 pp. less) were equipped with portable devices enabling mobile access to the Internet for business purposes. 34.4% of employees had access to such devices across the entire public administration (0.3 pp. more than in 2024).

Consumer pirces in April 2026 increased by 3.2% compared with the corresponding month of the previous year (with an increase of prices of services by 5.2% and goods by 2.4%).

Foreign trade turnover in January–March 2026 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 394.1 bn, while in imports - PLN 395.2 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 1.2 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports decreased by 2.2% and imports by 1.0%.

According to the flash estimate, gross domestic product (GDP) in volume terms seasonally unadjusted was higher by 3.4% in the 1st quarter of 2026 year-to-year (against 3.2% increase in the corresponding period of 2025).

In the period from 1.10.2024 to 30.09.2025, 43.7% of Poles (41.5% of females and 46.1% of males) participated in sports or recreational activities.

In the first quarter of 2025, there were 89 004 registrations of enterprises recorded i.e. 2,0% registrations more than in the corresponding period of previous year and 108 enterprises declared bankruptcy i.e. 8 bankruptcies more than in the first quarter of 2025.
