In April of 2019 value of construction and assembly production in constant prices increased, both in a monthly and increasing basis, compared to corresponding periods of the previous year.

Financial results of non-financial enterprises in the first quarter of 2019

In the first four months of 2019 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings in which construction has begun also increased, whereas the number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project decreased.

According to preliminary data in April 2019 the prices of construction and assembly production were higher by 0.4% in comparison to previous month and by 3.8% in comparison to April 2018.

In April 2019, sold production of industry was by 9.2% higher than in April 2018, which saw 9.3% increase, whereas in comparison with March 2019, it decreased by 3.6%.

According to preliminary data in April 2019 the prices of sold production of industry were higher in comparison to the previous month by 0.4%. In comparison to the corresponding period of the last year the prices increased by 2.6%.
