In September 2019 value of construction and assembly production in constant prices increased, both in a monthly and increasing basis, compared to corresponding periods of the previous year.

In the period of nine months of 2019 there were more dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings in which construction has begun and the number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project also increased.

In September 2019 retail sales at constant prices were by 4.3% higher than the year before (against a growth of 3.6% in September 2018). Compared with August 2019 retail sales decreased by 4.1%.
