In August 2026, sold production of industry was by 4.3% higher than in August 2025 (when an increase was recorded by 0.7%), whereas in comparison with July 2026, it decreased by 7.5%. In the period January-August of 2026, sold production of industry was by 3.5% higher than in the corresponding period of 2025 (which saw an increase by 2.0%).

In September 2026, there was an improvement in consumer sentiment moods regarding the current situation (compared to the previous month) while sentiment moods regarding the future situation deteriorated. The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was minus 10.8 which was by 0.5 higher in relation to last month.
