In February 2022 entities having 50 or more persons employed and participating in the monthly survey of production of industrial products, reported production of 21 915 425 face masks used in medicine and 15 046 447 other protective face masks.

In 2021, the financial results of cultural institutions increased compared to those obtained in the corresponding period of the previous year. Total revenues increased by 8.6% during this period. Investment outlays increased by 5.0%.

In 2021 financial results of the surveyed non-financial enterprises were higher than those obtained a year earlier. Also, the economic and financial indicators have significantly improved. Investment outlays were higher by 7.3% than those recorded in 2020 (when there was a decrease by 7.3%).

In March 2022, there was a deterioration in both current and future consumer sentiment moods compared to the previous month. The current consumer confidence indicator, synthetically describing the current trends in individual consumption, was -39.0 which was by 11.3 p.p. lower in relation to last month.

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products increased in February 2022 in comparison with the previous month (by 0.8%) as well as while compared to the corresponding period of the last year (by 24.2%).

In all of presented kinds of activities (apart from accommodation and food service activities section) general business climate indicator in March is at a lower level than in the previous month. In most of researched areas deterioration of “forecast” components is reported, whereas “diagnostic” ones decrease or do not change.
