In the 3rd quarter of 2023, there was an increase in border traffic of foreigners by 6.8% and Poles by 5.7%, compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. The values of goods and services purchased in this period by foreigners in Poland and goods and services purchased by Poles abroad were higher than in the 3rd quarter of 2022 by 15.8% and 12.9% respectively.

In November 2023, sold production of industry was by 0.7% lower than in November 2022, when an increase was recorded by 4.5% as compared to the corresponding period of the previous year, whereas in comparison with October 2023, it increased by 0.2%. In the period January-November of 2023, sold production of industry was by 1.4% lower than in the corresponding period of 2022, which saw an increase by 10.9% as compared to the corresponding period of 2021.

As at 31 March 2023, there were 997,737 residents of Ukraine under temporary protection in Poland.

Statistics Poland presents an estimation of the number of Polish residents temporarily staying abroad for at least 12 months in 2017-2022 (the stock of Polish immigrants in other countries). These data are not migration flow – the total number of departures (Poles leaving their homeland) in particular years, and as such cannot be summed up.

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in November 2023 decreased compared to October 2023 by 0.8%, as well as compared to the corresponding month of the previous year - by 4.7%.

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products increased in November 2023 in comparison with the previous month (by 0.4%), while compared to the corresponding period of the last year decreased (by 18.6%)
