Cattle population in June 2023 reached 6353.7 thousand heads and was lower by 1.4% com-pared to June of last year. The decrease in the total number of cattle herd resulted from a decrease in the population of all heard age groups except cattle over 2 years old (exclud-ing cows).

According to preliminary data, the population of pigs* in June 2023 was 9436.3 thousand heads showing a decrease of 1.8% compared to the analogical period last year. The reduc-tion in numbers occurred in four groups of pigs, in particular in the fattening pigs, where it was 4.8%.

The publication includes results of final estimates of animal production, information about the production of animals for slaughter (beef, veal, pork, poultry, mutton, horseflesh), wool, milk, honey, eggs for consumption and eggs for hatching.

Basic data and indicators characterizing the socio-economic situation of the country, presented in the form of data series - monthly, quarterly and annual on industry, including data on production, turnover, new orders, employment, average monthly gross wages, worked time, investment outlays, current assets, the sources of financing of enterprises assets.

In Poland in 2022 household consumption of electricity decreased by 5.0%, and the number of consumers increased by 1.8%.

In the first half of 2023, the financial results of cultural institutions increased compared to those obtained in the corresponding period of the previous year. Total revenues increased by 17.4% and investments outlays increased by 15.1% during this period.

In Poland, as of the end of 2022, there were recorded over 15.6 million dwellings (an increase of 1.4 % compared to the end of 2021) with the total useful floor area 1 172,9 million m2, with 59.7 million rooms.

The study is the result of an analysis of administrative sources, including registers, in relation to four medical professions: doctors, dentists, nurses and midwives . It showcases the resulting statistical data for the resources of the medical staff, as well as methodological information describing the assumptions of the method based only on several administrative sources obtained by official, public statistics.
