Disabled people in 2021
At the end of 2021, the majority of disabled persons working in medium and large enter-prises were employed in the private sector (75.2%). More than half of employed disabled persons worked in the section administrative and support service activities (102.3 thou-sand) and in the section manufacturing (79.1 thousand).

The demand for labour in the third quarter of 2022
At the end of the third quarter of 2022, there were 135.5 thousand job vacancies in Poland, 11.7% fewer than in the corresponding period of the previous year. Over the year, the number of newly created jobs decreased (by 9.1%), whereas the number of jobs liquidated increased (by 24.0%). In the third quarter of 2022, there were 1.7 newly created jobs per liquidated job.

42,604 persons injured in accidents at work were reported in January-September 2022, by 2.3% fewer than in 2021. The number of injured persons per 1,000 employed persons (the incidence rate) also decreased from 3.23 to 2.99.

Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January-October 2022
Foreign trade turnover1 in January-October 2022 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 321.7 bn, while in imports - PLN 1 394.4 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 72.7 bn, while in the same period of 2021 year was positive and amounted to PLN 7.5 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of 2021 exports increased by 23.3%, while imports by 31.0%.

increased by 17,5% (with an increase of prices of goods – by 18,8% and services – by 13,2%). As related to the previous month consumer prices increased by 0,7% (of which goods – by 0,7% and services – by 0,6%).

As in the previous edition, detailed information on social changes and economic processes in
the Łódzkie Voivodship have been grouped into 21 chapters. The statistical tables were
complemented with maps and charts which enriched the substantive context of the Yearbook.
The current edition presents the preliminary results of the National Population and Housing
Census 2021.
The summaries of the presented data are two review tables containing the major data on
the voivodship in 2000, 2010, 2015 and 2021 as well as selected information on voivodship on
the background of the country in 2021. The statistical reference has been completed with general
notes with explanations of terminology, methodology and scope of information.
The Annex to this year’s edition of the publication contains basic statistical data in territorial
break-down according to the Delimitation of Rural Areas for statistical purposes. The use of
the Delimitation of Rural Areas will enable detailed presentation of the results of statistical surveys
on rural areas, emphasising their diversity.

Quarterly information about labour market was compiled on the basis of generalised results of Labour Force Survey (LFS), carried out in the 3rd quarter of 2022, compared to the results of these surveys from the previous quarter and corresponding periods of 2021 and 2010. The study contains information about i.a. economic activity level of population by demographic and social characteristics, employed and economically inactive persons.
The study takes into account the recalculated LFS results for the years 2010–2020, according to changes introduced from 2021 in the definitions of main categories of persons on the labour market (the applicable definitions are included in the publication Labour force survey in Poland).

The Statistical Office in Wrocław is pleased to present the twenty-third edition of the “Statistical Yearbook of Dolnośląskie Voivodship”.
The publication contains a rich set of information characterising the standard of living of the society and the state of the voivodship’s economy. Detailed statistical data are grouped in 21 thematic sections. The study ends with two review tables containing selected information on the voivodship in comparison with the country in 2021 as well as important data on the voivodship in 2000, 2010, 2015 and 2021. The statistical material
included in the publication was supplemented with general notes containing explanations concerning terminology, methodology and scope of presented information.
The current edition presents the final results of the Agricultural Census 2020, as well as the preliminary results of the National Population and Housing Census 2021. In addition, the annex presents for the first time the Delimitation of Rural Areas for statistical purposes, which was developed by Statistics Poland.
