In 2021, more than 1/2 of the national value of gross domestic product was generated in 5 regions: Warszawski stołeczny, Śląskie, Wielkopolskie, Dolnośląskie and Małopolskie.
In 2021, a growth of gross domestic product at current prices was recorded in all regions in comparison to 2020, the highest in Pomorskie region - by 15.8% and the lowest in Łódzkie region - by 9.8%.
