The elaboration includes an analysis of the forms and territorial distribution of institutional and family foster care in Poland. It covers the issue of adoptions, the role of day-support centres and other forms of family support, forms of childcare for children up to the age of 3, also assistance provided in stationary social welfare facilities. It also contains information on the size of financial support for families with children in the form of family benefits, benefits under the government "Family 500 plus" programme , information on benefits provided under the social assistance system as well as expenditures of the state budget, local government entieties on social assistance, family, other tasks in sphere of social policy.

According to the revised estimate, gross domestic product (GDP) in 2022 increased by 5.3% in comparison to 2021. The result has changed compared to previously published on 20th April 2023 by 0.2 percentage points.

In the 1st half of 2023, 16.4 million tourists were accommodated in tourist accommodation estab-lishments and 40.4 million overnight stays were provided for them. Compared to the same period of 2022, this was an increase of 11.7% and 7.5% respectively. Compared to the 1st half of 2022, the occupancy rate also increased from 36.2% to 37.8%.

There is presented another study showing the results of the 2021 National Population and Housing Census. The census was carried out in Poland from April 1 to September 30, 2021, as of the state on March 31, 2021. A wide range of information obtained there from may be the basis for in-depth analyses and carrying out of balance of changes that took place in the period 2011–2021.
