In 2022, 54.0% of people in Poland aged 18-69 declared that they acquired knowledge in various ways. 48.3% of them (11.4 million people) learned informally from co-workers, friends, family members or on their own. According to preliminary data, the population of pigs* in December 2023 was 9769.7 thousand heads showing an increase of 1.5% compared to the analogical period last year. The reduction in numbers occurred in one groups of pigs, in particular in the fattening pigs, where it was 2.1%.

Cattle population in December 2023 reached 6,435.5 thousand heads and was lower by 0.2% in comparison to December of last year. The decrease in the total number of cattle herd resulted from a decrease in the population of all heard age groups except cattle 2 years or over.
