As of 31 December 2022, in Poland there were 2 082 stationary social welfare facilities, which had 131.5 thousand places in total. 118.8 thousand residents stayed in stationary social welfare facilities, including 58.6 thousand women.

Statistics Poland has launched a new Knowledge Databases website. It responds to users' expectations and needs to explore and use official statistical data in a convenient and intuitive way. The data can be downloaded (also via API) and used under the open public license (Attribution 4.0 International - CC BY 4.0).

Statistics in focus Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January-March 2023

Foreign trade turnover in January - March 2023 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 418.1 bn, while in imports - PLN 404.5 bn. The positive balance reached the level of PLN 13.6 bn, while in the same period of 2022 year was negative and amounted to PLN 21.3 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports increased by 12.5%, while imports by 3.0%.
