45,809 persons injured in accidents at work were reported in January-September 2023, by 7.5% more than in January-September 2022. The number of injured persons per 1,000 employed persons (the incidence rate) increased from 2.99 to 3.22.

In Poland, at the end of the third quarter of 2023, there were 111.2 thousand job vacancies (1.8% fewer than at the end of the second quarter of the current year). The largest annual decrease in the number of job vacancies occurred in the Information and communication section. The job vacancy rate decreased by 0.18 percentage points (0.89%) compared with the third quarter of 2022.

Publication Cultural and creative industries 2017-2021

Basic data and indicators describing the functioning of cultural and creative industries in Poland in 2017-2021. The first chapter presents data about number of entities classified as cultural and creative industries. The next two chapters contain analysis of the number of persons employed, average paid employment, gross wages and salaries and financial results. The data on this area have been presented by enterprise size class, domains of culture and in the context of the total non-financial enterprises. The last chapter is related to the export and import of cultural and creative goods and services, and in this respect, the data have been presented by domains of culture, groups of countries and in the context of data of the total foreign trade in Poland.

The human capital condition in Poland. The specification of thematic groups within the human capital permits an elementary analysis of each area affecting the development of human capital. The study contains a list of indicators concerning such fields as demographics, health, education, labour market, culture, science, technology and innovations, and economic and social conditions of human capital development, containing indicators directly affecting the quality of human capital.
