Foreign trade turnover in January – March 2025 in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 372.9 bn, while in imports - PLN 381.0 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 8.0 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of last year exports decreased by 2.7%, and imports increased by 3.3%.

In the first quarter of 2025, there were 87 250 registrations of enterprises recorded i.e. 5.2% less than in the corresponding period of previous year and 100 enterprises declared bankruptcy i.e. unchanged compared to the first quarter of 2024.

In 2024, there were 535 indoor cinemas with 1.6 thousand screens and 290.4 thousand seats for the audience. 2.2 million film screenings were shown, watched by 49.5 million viewers. 262 films for cinema and television were produced.

As at the end of April 2025 the REGON register included 5 347.3 thous. of national economy entities. The number of newly registered entities in April amounted to 35.1 thous., i.e. by 4.7% more than a month before.
