The aim of this document is to present methodological and organisational rules for compiling data on international trade in services applied within International trade in services survey (symbol 1.51.09 according to PBSSP).

International trade in services (ITS) survey is the survey carried out by Statistics Poland in co-operation with Narodowy Bank Polski. The aim of this survey is to collect, compile and present data on the value of international trade in services in terms of their acquisition from non-residents and their provision to non-residents broken down by a type of service and a partner country or an international organization. It is also the main source of data necessary to complete the Republic of Poland’s balance of payments in the current account part regarding service data. Whereas in national accounts statistics those data are included in supply and use tables, as well as in the rest of the world sector which shows the economic relations between the national economy and the rest of the world.
