Employed, unemployed and economically inactive persons (preliminary LFS results) - the fourth quarter of 2022

In the fourth quarter of 2022, economically active persons accounted for  58.2%[1] of the population aged 15-89 years. The rate increased as compared with both: the third quarter of 2022 – by 0.4 pp., and the fourth quarter of 2021 – by 0.2 pp.

[1] The LFS results refer to the population staying or intending to stay in the country’s territory for at least 12 months, living in private households. The survey results gathered in sample survey were generalised on the basis of the balances for which the base (initial base) are the results of the Population and Housing Census 2011 – NSP 2011 (in the later period the results will be recalculated with use of the balances based on the  Population and Housing Census 2021 – NSP 2021).
