According to the preliminary data, sold production of industry in constant prices (in enterprises employing more than 9 persons), in September of 2014, was by 4.2% higher than in the previous year (when an increase by 6.3% was recorded) and by 16.5% higher than in August of 2014. After eliminating the seasonal factors, sold production of industry reached the level higher by 1.9% than in the corresponding month of the previous year and by 1.0% higher than in August of 2014.
As compared to September of 2013, an increase in sold production was reported in 26 (out of 34) industry divisions, among others, in manufacture of furniture – by 20.1%, manufacture of pharmaceutical products – by 14.7%, manufacture of computer, electronic and optical products – by 11.7%, manufacture of basic metals – by 10.0%, manufacture of paper and paper products – by 8.4%, manufacture of rubber and plastic products – by 6.9%, manufacture of metal products – by 6.5% and manufacture of products of wood, cork, straw and wicker – by 6.5%. A drop in sold production of industry, as compared to September of 2013, was recorded in 8 divisions, among others, in manufacture of other transport equipment – by 13.3%, in electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply – by 3.4%, in manufacture of coke and refined petroleum products – by 1.9%, manufacture of food products – by 1.5%.
In the period January-September of 2014, sold production of industry was by 3.4% higher than in the corresponding period of the previous year which saw a 1.4% increase.
