In November, both seasonally and non-seasonally adjusted general business climate indi-cators for most of presented types of activity point at stabilisation of the economy – this also applies to "diagnostic" as well as "forecasting" components.

Seasonally adjusted indicator for manufacturing continues to improve slightly, yet sys-tematically. Better month-to-month assessments of business tendency (both seasonally and non-seasonally adjusted) are noted by companies from accommodation and food service activities section.

Entities from financial and insurance activities section assess business tendency most positively1 (plus 24.4), where value of the indicator is at a level close to the long-term mean2 (plus 25.4). The most pessimistic assessments are made by entities operating in construction (minus 8.9) along with manufacturing (minus 7.9), where in both cases value of the indicator is below the long-term mean (minus 3.6 and plus 0.5, respectively).

In the current month – answers provided between 1st and 10th of each month – supplemen-tary set of questions on investments has been added to the survey.


1By the phrase „positive” (positive value of the indicator) we consider a situation when percentage of entrepreneurs expecting improvement of their entities’ economic situation in the next three months or observing such an improvement outweighs percentage of entrepreneurs expecting its deterioration.
