In-depth questions about the current economic issues – assessment and expectations.

Seasonally adjusted data point at maintenance of business tendency in most of present-ed areas of the economy, given its stabilisation or slight growth trends recorded in the last months. In December, the downturn is observed in manufacturing, whereas a notice-able increase has been noted in transportation and storage section.

In the case of non-seasonally adjusted data, this month, compared with November, brings deterioration or stabilisation of the economy in all surveyed sectors.

In majority of studied areas, month-to-month level of "diagnostic" components decreas-es or does not change (except for two cases where it increases), while "forecasting" ones decrease (apart from one case where it increases).

Entities from financial and insurance activities section assess business tendency most positively1 (plus 23.6), however value of the indicator is below the long-term mean2 (plus 25.4). The most pessimistic assessments are made by entities operating in manufac-turing (minus 11.6) along with construction (minus 10.0), where in both cases value of the indicator is also below the long-term mean (plus 0.5 and minus 3.6, respectively).

In the current month – answers provided between 1st and 10th of each month – supple-mentary set of questions on labour market has been added to the survey.
