Economic aspects of environmental protection 2020
The amount of outlays on fixed assets for environmental protection in 2020 amounted to approx. PLN 11.4 billion (compared to PLN 12.4 billion in 2019), and outlays on fixed assets for water management reached the level of approx. PLN 2.7 billion (PLN 3.2 billion in 2019). In 2020, outlays on environmental protection and water management accounted for 0.49% and 0.11% of GDP, respectively (0.55% and 0.14% in 2019, respectively).

Domestic deliveries and consumption of selected consumer goods per capita in 2020
In 2020 domestic deliveries of meat (including pork, beef, veal and poultry meat) amounted to PLN 4194 thousand tons and were higher by 3.7% compared to the previous year.
The deliveries of both raw meat from animals for slaughter (by 5.1%) and poultry meat (by 2.0%) increased.

In the first quarter of 2021, in Poland, national economy entities (parent or local units) with at least 1 employee were seeking 423.9 thousand people to be employed and according to their recruitment plans for the remaining quarters of the year they were seeking another 598.7 thousand people. 118.1 thousand employee terminations were planned to be done by the end of the year.
