In most of presented kinds of activities general business climate indicator in November is at a lower level than in the previous month. In the majority of researched areas deterioration of “forecast” components has been reported, whereas “diagnostic” ones do not change. The most positive1 indicator is noted by two sections – financial and insurance activities as well as information and communication, while the most pessimistic one by entities representing accommodation and food service activities section.

Procurement prices of basic agricultural products increased in October 2021 in comparison with the previous month (by 2.1%) as well as while compared to the corresponding month of last year (by 15.6%).

According to preliminary data, the prices of sold production of industry in October 2021 increased compared to September 2021 by 1.8 % and compared to that recorded in the corresponding month of the previous year - by 11.8%.

In October 2021, sold production of industry was by 7.8% higher than in October 2020, when an increase was recorded by 1.0% as compared to the previous year, whereas in comparison with September 2021, it increased by 2.3%. In the period January-October of 2021, sold production of industry was by 14.9% higher than in the corresponding period of 2020, which saw a decrease by 2.7%.

According to preliminary data, in October 2021 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 5.5%, and in comparison with September 2021 - by 0.8%.

In October 2020, the average monthly total gross wage and salary for employees in entities of the national economy with 10 or more employed persons amounted to PLN 5 748.24. It was 22.2% higher than the median wage and salary.
