The publication presents the results of the "Information Society Indicators" survey, which includes: a report on the use of ICT in enterprises, a report on the use of ICT in financial sector enterprises, the use of ICT in public administration units, the use of ICT in households (including an individual questionnaire) and basic characteristics of the ICT sector.

In January 2022, there were less dwellings completed than the year before. The number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project as well as dwellings in which construction has begun also decreased.

Acording to preliminary data construction and assembly production (in constant prices) carried out carried out domestically by construction enterprises employing more than 9 persons was in January 2022 by 20.8% higher than a year before (against a decrease of 10.1% the year before) and by 56.5% lower compared with December 2021 (a decrease of 62.9% the year before).

In January 2022 retail sales at constant prices were by 10.6% higher than the year before (against a drop of 6.0% in January 2021). Compared with December 2021 retail sales decreased by 22.8%.

New information and communication technologies (ICT) are one of the key factors changing the world. Their continuous development and ubiquitous availability of digital products constitute a priority supporting the economic and social development of the state.
