Foreign trade turnover of goods in total and by countries in January-December 2018

Foreign trade turnover after twelve months of 2018 according to temporary data2, exports at current prices amounted to PLN 940.4 bn, while imports amounted to PLN 961.8 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 21.4 bn, while in the same period 2017 it was positive and amounted to PLN 2.5 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of the 2017, exports incteased by 6.5%, and imports by 9.3%.

Flash estimate of Gross Domestic Product in the 4th quarter of 2018

The data is preliminary and can be subject to revision, in accordance with the revision policy of quarterly national accounts, in the first “regular” estimate of GDP for the fourth quarter of 2018 which will be released on February 28, 2018. In the 4th quarter of 2018 seasonally adjusted GDP (constant prices, reference year 2010) was higher by 0.5% than in the previous quarter and 4.6% higher than in the 4th quarter of the previous year. Seasonally unadjusted GDP (constant average prices of the previous year) was higher by 4.9% than in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

In January 2019 the consumer prices, according to prelimanary data, were higher by 0,1% compared with December of the previous year. Compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, consumer prices increased by 0,9%.

According to preliminary data in January 2019 the prices of sold production of industry were higher by 0.2% in comparison to December 2018. In comparison to the corresponding period of the last year the prices in-creased by 2.2%.

The next edition of the report on The European Union Statistics on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC). Housing economy in the years 2013–2017

In order to meet expectations and interests of the statistical information recipients, the publication was prepared to present dwelling economy in Poland in a comprehensive way. It shows determinants and consequences of the changes in the condition of dwelling stocks, taking into account the ownership situation and effects of residential construction. Changes in the housing conditions were described in the study in regard to dwelling occupancy level, standard of dwellings and assistance granted by the state in the form of paid housing allowances. Also, changes on the real estate market were analysed in terms of amount and value of activities on the real estate market together with specification of purchase/sale transactions made in connection with transferring the right of property ownership.
