As at the last day of September 2024, there were 15 138.7 thousand employed persons in the national economy. The average age and median age of employed persons in the national economy were similar. The average age was 42.8 years and the median age was 42.0 years.

In 2023, 1,290 gminas (52.1% of all in Poland) carried out revitalisation activities based on revitalisation programmes (GPR/PR) and other strategic documents (IDS). In 2023, the revitalisation area covered 1,029.4 thousand hectares (3.3% of the country's total area) and was home to 4,823.4 thousand people (12.8% of Poland's population).

Gross value added created by the area of culture amounted to PLN 60 billion. Three domains dominated in the majority of transactions that make up the culture satellite account: Advertising, Audio-visual arts and multimedia and Books and Press.

According to preliminary data, as of the end of 2024, the number of existing rental agreements for residential premises from gmina’s dwelling stocks decreased by 1.3 %, compared to 2023.

In 2023, in tourist accommodation establishments located in the 27 countries of the European Union 1.0 billion people were accommodated, with 2.9 billion overnight stays provided to them. Compared to 2022, both the number of tourists and the number of overnight stays provided to them increased - by 9.8% and 6.8% respectively.

Seasonally unadjusted gross domestic product (GDP) in the the fourth quarter of 2024 was higher by 3.2% year-on-year comparision against the increase of 1.0% in the corresponding quarter of 2023 (constant average prices of the previous year).

Tourists (domestic and foreign) in tourist accommodation establishments possesing 10 or more bed places in December 2024.

According to the preliminary results of the Polish Labour Force Survey, a decrease in the economic activity of the population was observed in the fourth quarter of 2024. The number of employed persons and the employment rate were lower than in the third quarter of 2024. The number of unemployed persons and the unemployment rate also decreased. However, the number of economically inactive persons increased.
