In January-August 2026 foreign trade turnover in exports at current prices amounted to PLN 1 093.0 bn, while in imports to PLN 1 120.9 bn. The negative balance reached the level of PLN 27.9 bn. In comparison to the corresponding period of 2025, exports increased by 7.0% and imports by 7.5%.

Consumer prices in September 2026 increased by 4.1% compared with the corresponding month of the previous year (with an increase of prices of services by 5.3% and goods by 3.6%). As related to the previous month consumer prices increased by 0.7% (of which goods by 1.2%, with a decrease of prices of services by 0.5%).

In April 2026, the median monthly gross wage and salary increased by 2.2% in nominal terms compared with March 2026 and by 6.0% compared with April 2025. During the same period, the average monthly gross wage and salary decreased by 0.5% in nominal terms compared with March 2026, whilst it increased by 5.5% compared with April 2025.

In the second quarter of 2026, prices of residential premises in Poland increased by 1.5% compared to the previous quarter.

In 2024, more than half of the gross domestic product value was generated in the 5 regions: Warszawski stołeczny, Śląskie, Wielkopolskie, Dolnośląskie and Małopolskie.

The results of the preliminary production estimate for the main agricultural and horticultural crops in 2026 are as follows: the harvest of total cereals will amount to around 35.5 million tonnes, i.e. about 5.0% less than last year's harvest;
