According to the flash estimate, gross domestic product (GDP) in volume terms seasonally unadjusted was higher by 3.4% in the 2nd quarter of 2025 year-to-year against 3.2% increase in the corresponding period of 2024.

In the second quarter of 2025, there were 88 728 registrations of enterprises recorded i.e. 1.2% more than in the corresponding period of previous year and 90 enterprises declared bankruptcy i.e. 2.2% less than in the second quarter of 2024.

On the last day of February 2025, there were 1 057.4 thousand foreigners performing work in Poland, i.e. 5.3% more than in February 2024. Compared with the previous month, their number increased by 1.2%.

As at the end of July 2025 the REGON register included 5 384.2 thous. of national economy entities. In July this year, the number of entities registered, as well as deregistered, was higher than the month before.
