On the last day of December 2024, there were 15,169.7 thousand employed persons in the national economy in Poland.

In 2024 the financial situation of households significantly improved in comparison with 2023. This was due, among others, to a higher average monthly salary in the national economy (of which resulting from the increase in the minimum wage), as well as an increase in social and family benefits, with a simultanouse decrease in the growth rate of consumer goods and services prices. Households attained in nominal terms higher income, but they also had higher expenditure.

At the end of 2024, outpatient health care was carried out by 24 225 outpatient departments, 532 doctors practises and 2 508 dentists practises providing services funded by public sources.

Winter and spring losses in winter cereal sown areas were small, amounting to about 0.6% for winter cereal mixtures and about 0.2% for winter barley.

At the end of 2024, there were 3,911 centres of culture, cultural centres and establishments, clubs and community centres. During the year, these entities organised 276.6 thousand events attended by 35.2 million participants.
