Foreign trade turnover1 in the January – October
this year according to exports at current prices
amounted to PLN 854.5 bn, while imports
amounted to PLN 811.9 bn. The positive balance
reached the level of PLN 42.6 bn, while in the same
period of 2019 year amounted to PLN 3.3 bn. In
comparison to the corresponding period of the
2019, both exports and imports decreased by 0.2%
and 4.8% respectively.

and goods – by 1,3%).
As related to the previous month consumer prices increased
by 0,1% (with an increase of prices of services – by 0,5%
and a decrease of prices of goods – by 0,1%).

Accidents at work in January-September 2020 - preliminary data

24,040 persons injured in accidents at work were
reported in the first half of 2020, by 29.9% fewer than in
40,140 persons injured in accidents at work were
reported in January-September 2020, by 24.1% fewer
than in the same period of 2019. The number of injured
persons per 1,000 employed persons (the incidence
rate) also decreased from 3.91 to 2.96 respectively.
