According to the EDP notification, in 2021 the general government deficit was equal 49 008 zl (1,9% of GDP), while the general government debt amounted to 1 410 494 mln zl (53,8% of GDP).

In the first quarter of 2022, there were more dwellings completed than the year before. Whereas the number of dwellings for which permits have been granted or which have been registered with a construction project as well as dwellings in which construction has begun decreased.

In all of presented kinds of activities general business climate indicator in April is at a higher level than in the previous month. In all of researched areas “forecast” components improve, whereas “diagnostic” ones increase or do not change.

Average monthly gross wage and salary in enterprise sector in the first quarter of 2022 was PLN 6338.46 zł.

According to preliminary data, in March 2022 the prices of construction and assembly production in comparison with the corresponding month of the previous year increased by 10.4%, and in comparison with February 2022 - by 1.4%.

In March 2022, sold production of industry was by 17.3% higher than in March 2021, when an increase was recorded by 18.6% as compared to the previous year, whereas in comparison with February 2022, it increased by 18.2%. In the period January-March of 2022, sold production of industry was by 16.7% higher than in the corresponding period of 2021, which saw an increase by 7.8%.
