Consumer prices according to the flash estimate in August 2021, compared with the corresponding month of the previous year, increased by 5,4% (price index 105,4), and as related to the previous month increased by 0,2% (price index 100,2).

Consumer price indices by voivodships in the 2nd quarter of 2021

In 2020 domestic deliveries of meat (including pork, beef, veal and poultry meat) amounted to PLN 4194 thousand tons and were higher by 3.7% compared to the previous year. The deliveries of both raw meat from animals for slaughter (by 5.1%) and poultry meat (by 2.0%) increased.

The amount of outlays on fixed assets for environmental protection in 2020 amounted to approx. PLN 11.4 billion (compared to PLN 12.4 billion in 2019), and outlays on fixed assets for water management reached the level of approx. PLN 2.7 billion (PLN 3.2 billion in 2019). In 2020, outlays on environmental protection and water management accounted for 0.49% and 0.11% of GDP, respectively (0.55% and 0.14% in 2019, respectively).

Seasonally unadjusted gross domestic product (GDP) in the 2nd quarter of 2021 was higher by 11,1% year-on-year comparison against the decrease of 8.3 % in the correspording quarter of 2020 (constant average prices of the previous year).

Based on the experimental method of identifying crops using satellite imagery, the area of triticale in 2021 was determined at the level of 1.35 million hectares.

The total value of pension entitlements of households accrued under social insurance in Poland amounted to 292% of GDP, i.e 6 189 064,7 million PLN on 31st December 2018.

Price index of investment goods for the second quarter 2021 (related to the first quarter of 2021) was 101.3 (the prices increased by 1.3%).
